Workshop Retreat Schedule - Nosara Bed and Breakfast Hotel

Planning a vacation/retreat is quite simple and straight forward, even if this is your first retreat. We have already done most of the planning and logistical arrangements you will need to make your retreat simple and fun. Your contribution will be to attract a group of eight or more people to travel with you to a secluded, tropical paradise to present your workshop and to enjoy a fun filled vacation.

This will take some effort on your part, however if you are prepared to do the marketing, the rest of the retreat preparation is quite simple. Some of our current retreat leaders are amateur teachers who want to enjoy nature and adventure with friends and make a little money.

Our most popular package is a Saturday to Saturday, seven-night package. This includes:

Double occupancy accommodations (single occupancy requires an additional fee) in our spacious, charming rooms.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily
Three meals out at restaurants
Three excursions that can include:
    Miss Sky Canopy Tour
    A River Boat Ride
    Watching the Olive Ridley Turtles lay eggs
    A guided walk in the nature preserve
    Surf lessons
    Jungle and beach Horse back ride.

Working with you, we will clarify the requirements of your particular group and come up with a price according to your needs. We will also assist you in designing a post card and written copy to advertise your retreat, and be available for ongoing phone support and consultation to help you
set-up and implement your promotional strategy.

A typical example of organizing a Nosara Retreat/Vacation:

An organizer, who we will call "Sarah" from Marin County, CA decides to organize a retreat/vacation at Nosara Retreat. Sarah contacts info@nosararetreat.com, and sets aside dates for her first retreat. Sarah is assisted with flight recommendations and arrangements.

The Nosara Retreat staff provide Sarah with photos and print content that she will use to develop a flyer. Sarah will develop a simple website specific to her upcoming Retreat/Vacation. She plans to link her site to the Nosara Retreat website and will be posted on the Nosara Retreat Calendar. Sarah plans to contact her students and other potential participants by word of mouth, social networking websites, printed flyers, emails, maybe a small ad in the local paper, and post flyers in her neighborhood Co-Op and Whole Foods grocery store, etc.

Sarah's creativity and hard work has paid off; she was able to attract eight people to the "First Annual Sarah Nosara Retreat". For her love of hard work and propensity to have fun, Sarah gets to spend a week in an exotic paradise teaching classes to her eight new and old friends, discovering Costa Rica, swimming, riding the waves or laying out by the ocean or tide pools, eating gourmet healthy meals, checking out the fresh fruit smoothies, and sleeping to the sound of crickets and the Pacific waves. Sarah leaves Nosara Retreat empowered, invigorated and inspired.

*Even with airfare, the cost of our retreats is comparable to the cost of most retreats that you would find in the United States. (Airfares to Costa Rica are similar to interstate travel within the United States. Since our accommodations are more reasonably priced than most retreat facilities, our overall retreat costs, including airfare, are generally less than retreats in the United States.
